A lot of things happened the week I turned 37. Like forcing people to watch my favorite Todd Haynes movie. And infiltrating the Getty wire because I interviewed Noah Kahan, who is very nice and generous with his thoughts and wished me happy birthday onstage. Other things, too! Dozens, even. But I have pictures of these things. 😌

That’s a wrap on SXSW 2026!! This was such a fun and special week that I’ll remember forever! ⭐️

I had the absolute best time running around the city helping, learning from, and laughing with @selenaschorken! Serendipity truly is real. She was a Sneak Peeker just like me ten years ago, and she came back to SXSW as a spectacular professional journalist, where she and I got to see the newest era of Sneak Peekers. She is the exact kind of entertainment journalist I aspire to be, and I’m so grateful for her every single day.

I’m beyond happy I got to reunite with the wonderful @nicole.soroka_ of @assceneonscreen. I’ve always said SXSW reminds me of summer camp, where you meet people just so happy to be where they are, and I’m so happy this movie summer camp introduced me to Nicole years ago! Manifesting a day where she and I live in the same city — or at least the same country! Canada, you’re so lucky to have such a talented and kind girl with such a bright future.

Working with @mollykaplow again, who I’ve absolutely adored since the second I met her in the TSTV studio, is a gift I’ll always cherish. Her talent and generosity shine in everything she does, and I’m so happy to know her.

Get in line to be @annakayacquaro’s number one fan! Seeing her in action never gets old. She is such an instrumental part of why this festival runs so smoothly and is so fun for everyone, and I will always be cheering her on! We’ve come such a long way from our days giggling in our internship together all those years ago!

I’m so excited to share the interviews Molly and I did for @reeltalkandreviews in the coming days. I’m so happy and blessed to know so many amazing, supportive people and to continue growing as an entertainment journalist. Until the next week of summer camp, @sxsw!
