let the house forget its corners
and become a field,
let ourselves
be flung wide open, too.

Dinner at @lineagemaui deserves its own post. Every bite and sip was incredible. The phone did not eat first for the shrimp and scallop croquettes which were divine and the cold nitro brew we had as dessert.
- Up Country Salad with added goat cheese
- Korean fried chicken with gochujang and peanuts with pickled side dish
- Garlic chili oil Szechuan noodles
- Wagyu Strip with bone marrow, garlic rice, smashed cucumbers and turnips

February was about doing very hard things to be prepared for very good things, which is to say, I feel thawed and cracked open and brave and ready and alive and grateful 🪴

Brimming with joy to watch another incredible spring unfolding alongside you beautiful people — I love you, I love you, I love you!

🩵💙🤍

I worried a lot. Will the garden grow, will the rivers
flow in the right direction, will the earth turn
as it was taught, and if not how shall
I correct it?

Was I right, was I wrong, will I be forgiven,
can I do better?

Will I ever be able to sing, even the sparrows
can do it and I am, well,
hopeless.

Is my eyesight fading or am I just imagining it,
am I going to get rheumatism,
lockjaw, dementia?

Finally I saw that worrying had come to nothing.
And gave it up. And took my old body
and went out into the morning,
and sang.
