Small business Saturday: here’s a sneak behind the scenes of only a few bits of all that goes into the business - from fun holiday markets, to every hurdle under the sun to get products tested, approved, produced, and production issues, packaging mishaps, enlisting your friends and friend’s families as models. It takes a village. Even though we are really small (and my finance contractor said don’t do it!!) we are offering a sale this weekend as a gratitude offer to our community. Shop now 15% off site wide + 20% off subscription. Ends Sunday midnight pst. #smallbusinesssaturday

Setting up for this years Oaxaca trip had me looking down memory lane a bit. I first experienced Oaxaca in 2014, been going back ever since. Peep some almost branding in there.

*C U S T O M from miles away*
This lovely bride came to me from Austin with a clear vision and a closet that already spoke volumes about her style. I believe her initial message read something like “I don’t know if it’s even be possible in the amount of time”. Challenge accepted 🙋🏼‍♀️

Through a few thoughtfully paced calls, fabric samples by mail, and one intuitive sketch process, we built something that felt just like her.

Just trust, beautiful textiles, and a few minor adjustments to have all of the lines hit just right.

Remote custom is possible. In fact, it’s not just possible—it’s often easy, calm, and more personal than the standard bridal experience. Because when you work one-on-one with someone who’s here to listen and ready to design for you, the distance doesn’t dilute the magic. It sharpens it 🌷

Today is the day 👽Our album Two Stamps is out in the world wherever you like to enjoy your music and we hope that you give it a listen.

Massive thanks are in order:
You - listener for sticking around and sharing our music with your friends. We love y’all. Sorry we went MIA for a minute 🫶

Marshall Pruitt (@sprots_player ) - You’re a legend. Marshall is the one man wonder who recorded, produced, and mixed all of the tunes. If you’re in Austin work with Marshall

Anna McCaleb (@annamccaleb ), who made the album and single art for Two Stamps (and also the art for our last two albums + pretty much everything we’ve released save an EP or two). We’re so lucky to have you bless us with your talents ❤️

Timothy Stollenwork (@timothy_stollenwerk ) who mastered Two Stamps and was an absolute pleasure to work with- helping us meet DEADLINES to get vinyl in time for the show

Dapp (@dappattack ) for always being down to document with beautiful film snaps (and posters 😘😘)

P.S.
If you have any favorite songs from the record that you want to learn how to play let us know. We can make some YouTube tutorial vids walking through (at least) the guitar parts and chord progressions.

anyone else find the concept of a recap from last year painful and impossible and ultimately a flattening of the human experience? cool, me too. this video is a pale sliver of the story, but my phone made it anyway and it is still january. read on.

2024 was a full send— so. much. beauty. traveled extensively with my boxes, bags, photos and friends all across the country and back, ran around on beaches and in forests, started and just about finished a book [link to pre order coming SOON], supported myself with my own business, met and loved on so many people. I soared and I also sank, remembered and forgot, put every card I had on the table and learned that we often hold on the tightest when we’re about to let go.

i am (and maybe all of us, all the time) are in the midst of doing that mad work of using what has been as kindling for the fire of what will be— it feels amazing and also very hard. so as you do it, i'm wishing you so much love and luck and warmth and safety out there.
