🚨🚨Season Announcement🚨🚨 As we rapidly approach the first performances of the season, I thought it was time to let you all know what I am up to this fall! All new roles with all new companies that I cannot wait to perform with! From October 9-18, I will be playing Brom Bones in Manor Mill Playhouse’s production of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow! This is my first (official) spoken role and I can’t wait to put it on its feet! Following this, on October 30th and November 1st, I will be joining Annapolis Opera as the silly Sergeant of Police in the Pirates of Penzance. Finally, on November 13th, I will be playing the role of Max in L’opéra Comique de Washington’s production of Le Chalet at the French Embassy in DC! Tickets to each of these fantastic productions can be found on the schedule page of my website (link in bio). More coming soon… ;)

Opera Choristers are some of the hardest working people in the opera community. I started my career as a chorister and it paved the way for my work as a soloist. Stay tuned for more insider information about working as an opera chorister in Germany. #germany #operachorus #auditions #gogetthatjob #jobseeker

My heart is full. 🩷🥰🥹 This past Sunday’s Opera Up Close concert with @annapolisopera was such a meaningful performance for me. To reflect on a 20-year career with gratitude, appreciation, and yes — a little bit of pride — was an enormous gift. So many personal and professional milestones have been shaped by this incredible company and community of artists, and sharing that journey through music on Sunday meant more to me than I can say. Thank you to kiercraig for being such an exquisite collaborator, to @annapolisopera for giving me a place to grow and blossom as an artist, and to my dear family and friends for cheering me on not just this weekend, but every step of the way. Your love and support mean the world to me. 🥰 We are all artists of our days, and every once in a while, we get the chance to pause and reflect on what a beautiful gift that is — to ourselves and to our community. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. 💕🎶💐 #soprano #opera #artist #workingmom #livemusic

Day 3 – A look back, leading up to Opera Up Close Violetta in La Traviata – a courtesan looking to live a life free from consequences and away from the constraints of everyday life.  I took on this role shortly after having my second child, during a season where very little felt “free.” I was struggling with breastfeeding, navigating critical allergy diagnoses for my newborn, and moving my family through a major life transition – all while trying to reconnect with myself as an artist. Each night, I stepped onstage to sing “Sempre libera” (“always free”), and the contradiction of that stayed with me; sometimes freedom isn’t the absence of difficulty, it’s finding yourself within it. Please come join me TOMORROW, May 3rd at 3pm for my one-woman cabaret where I explore how interwoven my personal and professional life have been. There will be more stories like this, and it would mean the world to have your support. The ticket link is in the linktree in my bio!

Day 2 — A look back, leading up to Opera Up Close Musetta in La Bohème — a role I performed while six months pregnant with my first child, Christian. At the time, I was navigating a major personal shift: trying to understand what it meant to become a mother, and how that new identity fit alongside the artist and performer I had known myself to be. Meanwhile, Musetta lives so freely; falling in and out of love, leading with confidence, sexuality, and spontaneity. Playing her during that chapter of my life created an interesting contrast that stayed with me long after the production ended. More stories and memories to come, but I’d be honored if you joined me Sunday, May 3rd at 3pm for my one-woman cabaret, an evening that feels especially close to my heart professionally and personally! Your support would mean everything! The link can be found in my bio.

Day 1 of: A look back, leading up to Opera Up Close This week, I’ll be sharing a few moments – both personal and professional – that have shaped the program I’ll be performing as part of Annapolis Opera’s Opera Up Close series. Starting at the beginning: the Queen of the Night. This role marked my professional debut, and it happened with Annapolis Opera, making this full-circle moment feel especially meaningful. It’s special how some places don’t just mark milestones, they hold them. Come join me Sunday, May 3rd at 3pm for my one-woman cabaret, an evening that feels especially close to my heart professionally and personally! Your support would mean everything! The link can be found in my bio.
