And that’s a wrap on POTUS. Congratulations to our incredible cast, crew, designers, and production team on an amazing run.

And on behalf of everyone at The Royal Underground Theatre Company, thank you to every audience member who came out, laughed with us, cheered us on, and got just a little bit c*nty with us.

You made this run what it was, and we are so grateful.

Thank you for showing up for live theatre, for this cast, and for this gloriously chaotic play.

Sure, the critics enjoyed POTUS. But our audiences? They LOVED IT!

“One of the best theater outings I have EVER had! Fabulous play, cast and company. I’ve urged many friends to go see this play. I hope to see it myself a second time. THANK YOU!”
— Misha Norton, audience member

Thank YOU, Misha! When audiences leave wanting to come back AND send their friends, that’s our kind of endorsement.

“POTUS” brings the laughs to Berkeley and this ensemble delivers 🤩

Director Anna Oglesby-Smith keeps the pace razor-tight in Royal Underground Theatre Company’s satirical romp through the West Wing. Standout turns from Jules Weiss (a scene-stealing Stephanie) and Hannah Martínez-Crow (Dusty) anchor the chaos, while Michele Rabkin and Asoula “Jasmine” Avegalio bring sharp, scene-hungry energy as Harriet and Margaret. All seven performers are excellent…a farce with real bite. - Woody Weingarten, Bay City News.

Selina Fillinger’s outrageous Broadway comedy comes roaring into the Live Oak Theater with an AMAZING ensemble of seven fearless women who are smart, hilarious, completely unhinged, and working overtime to keep one very bad day from becoming an international catastrophe.

Under the direction of Anna Oglesby-Smith, this cast is bringing the laughs, the chemistry, and the glorious mayhem. The President may be in trouble. These women are just getting started.
