Fifty years of Sotheby’s International Realty, celebrated in San Francisco. One line from the main stage has stayed with me all week (last slide). It explains a lot about why this brand works, and why the people in it matter so much. Most of what happens at GNE doesn’t look like work. It’s long dinners and catching up with agents we’ve known for years, plus a few new faces I’ll be calling soon. But those relationships are the reason that when a Seattle client is relocating across the country, or a family overseas is moving to the Eastside, I’m not searching for an agent. I’m calling a friend. That’s the part of this network our clients feel, even if they never see the room. Ready to put it all into play!

Earlier this week, 3,000 Sotheby’s International Realty agents from around the world gathered at our iconic San Francisco City Hall for a black-tie celebration marking 50 years of @sothebysrealty. To make the evening a little more memorable, I hatched a last-minute plan with my friend @BridgetRamey, premier luxury agent in Austin, TX, someone I have a ton of admiration for. Our shared passion of Italian sports cars seemed like the perfect addition to an already incredible evening.
 Pulling up in those two cars and watching thousands of our colleagues arrive was surreal. A pinch-yourself moment in our hometown @thegoldengategroup 
 As much fun as the cars were, the best part of the 2026 GNE was the people. Old friendships that picked up right where they left off, new friendships that feel decades old, and quality time with family.
 Proud of our city, this brokerage, and everything we’ve built together. To friends and colleagues, here’s to the next 50 years! 🥂🏎️

There’s something pretty powerful about realizing that this is your job, but the business you’ve built is really built around people. It was so wonderful to see so many of you share these amazing nonprofits, including some new ones we hadn’t heard of before! 🩵 So now you want to nominate? Here’s how you go about it 👇 Who can nominate? Only members of 100+ Women Who Care Miami Beach. Become a member and nominate yourself, or connect with a current member and ask them to nominate you. Who qualifies? A local, grassroots 501(c)(3) serving Miami-Dade County, sorry no national organizations. What happens next? The member fills out the Charity Submission Form, and our committee vets every nominee. Once approved, you’re in the pot. At each meeting, we hear from 3 nonprofits, they pitch for 5 min max, the members vote and the most votes wins the grant. At the end of the meeting, 3 nonprofits are randomly drawn to pitch at our next meeting. It’s that simple! 👉 Become a member or learn more: link in bio.
