English version in the comments ❤️

”Vain astumalla omaan aikuisen naisen
haluuni, voimaani ja loistooni,
voin suojella tyttöä minussa.

Sitä tyttöä, joka uskaltaa kokeilla,
innostua ja uskoa mahdottomaan.
Tyttöä, joka haluaa ennen kuin kysyy,
saako haluta.
Tyttöä, joka ei vielä tiedä,
että hänessä olisi jotain hävettävää.

Ja kun suojelen tuota tyttöä,
hänen kauttaan

suojelen kaikkia maailman tyttöjä.”

Pohjolan Naisen Luonto, 2026 ❤️‍🔥

so cool to have reflected back on my little journey. thank you for everyone along the way <3

Happy entrepreneur day <3

I’ve been an entrepreneur for almost two years now, and I did the math: 12 clients along the way, some of them projects and some ongoing relationships that have been there from the start. Thank you to all the wonderful people I’ve gotten to learn and work with on these themes:

• social media strategies and management
• website design and development
• creating and launching a business accelerator
• video shooting and editing
• content creation
• email marketing
• search engine optimisation
• articles and written content
• market analyses
• marketing strategies

This summer I got to work on Puhdistamo’s social media, content and article updates, thank you for that project. This autumn there’s new brand building, a launch, websites and social media management coming up.

For anyone job hunting, thinking about going self employed, or considering a career change: two years ago, after graduating from business school, I tried to find a marketing job and didn’t get one. Looking back, thank goodness. My own path led to entrepreneurship, and it’s been so cool to get to do such a wide range of marketing work, but especially on my own terms. Entrepreneurship has made my biggest dream possible: to travel a lot and work from abroad. Even though the journey has its ups and downs, like every journey does, sitting here planning next winter’s remote work destinations, this feels really right. <3

• hakukoneoptimointi
• artikkelit ja tekstisisällöt
• markkina-analyysit
• markkinointistrategiat

Kesällä pääsin tekemään uuden asiakkaan Puhdistamo - Real Food

Tonight is your last chance to experience Nature of Nordic Woman psychoperformative show in New York!

Meet Ida-Maria Martela @idamariamartela, one of the artists behind this powerful project exploring womanhood, nature, rage, and healing.

RSVP through the link in our bio.

As one beautiful soul who experienced the show yesterday so beautifully summed it up: ”It’s about women, trees, rage, and release.”

***

Ida-Maria Martela is a performance artist, trained dancer, and facilitator whose work explores the intersection of embodiment, human connection, and transformation. A former bronze medalist in the Finnish Show Dance Championships, she now creates experiences that combine movement, creative expression, and emotional presence to help individuals reconnect with themselves and take up space more fully in the world.

With a background in dance, social sciences, and communication, Martela brings together embodied, systemic, and societal perspectives in a uniquely integrated way. Her work has been shaped by years of collaboration with acclaimed philosopher and professor Esa Saarinen’s team at Aalto University, deepening her understanding of systems thinking and human interaction. She also draws from the principles of Open Dialogue, emphasizing the importance of relationships and community in shaping identity and personal growth.

At the core of Martela’s practice lies a deep curiosity about what it means to be human — how we move, relate, express ourselves, and transform together.

In Nature of Nordic Woman, Martela brings embodied expression into dialogue with psychology and visual storytelling, helping create an emotionally resonant and multisensory experience. Developed together with psychologist Iida Mäkikallio @iidamakikallio and artist Meeri Koutaniemi @meerikoutaniemi, the work emerged from workshops exploring healthy aggression, boundaries, and emotional expression – experiences that revealed how witnessing another person reclaim themselves can become deeply moving and unexpectedly healing.

Final show: June 25, 2026, 7-9 PM, showtime 7.30 PM

On June 18 we opened “Nature of Nordic Woman” — a collaborative photography exhibition and psychoperformative work by @meerikoutaniemi @iidamakikallio @idamariamartela and @annasofiaabraham

The first performance opened last night, and * there is one more this evening at 7pm *

Sometimes it feels like I’m always running, always in motion, like there isn’t a place or ever a time for stillness in my life. Performers offer themselves as a gift to their audience, so that for a moment, we can be still and come into a world they have created for us.

As I sat there watching these beautiful women do something they clearly loved, I thought about the beauty in witnessing individuals who try to make the world a better place for one another. The small acts of bravery and sacrifice that might make a difference in someone else’s life.

These women went from a major production performing in front of 400 people, to an intimate version made for a gallery space than can host 40 guests. They invested their time, money, and energy to travel across the world in the hopes of sharing their message with a wider audience.

For an evening I became a stage tech, taping up foam core, adjusting our lights, creating rows of chairs and helping transform the gallery into a little theater. My colleague Joshua installed speakers and a projector 📽️ and the space became an immersive environment.

There was a fascinating Q&A discussion between the performers and the audience after the show. The room was filled with laughter, curiosity, empathy and understanding. I highly recommend joining us tonight for the final performance 🎭

The photography exhibition is on view at our Tribeca location, while the performances are being held in Chelsea. DM me if you’d like to attend this evening ✨

📍Performance: 501 West 23rd Street Chelsea, NYC
