![🇺🇦 1914 - The Blind Leading The Blind 🇺🇦
@1914_official
[Limited Edition | Reissue | Black Vinyl | Signed]
Haven't you already posted this one a while ago, Scum?
Well yes I did! And this one actually isn't mine. So why posting it if it's not mine?
Pretty simple! A friend of mine asked me to!
"The Blind Leading The Blind" is in fact 1914's second full-length album already though it's their first more popular one. For me it was the first one I've noticed a while ago.
At first I was a little reserved when I took a first glance at the band. World War themes in Black/Death Metal sometimes can be dubious.
But not(!) in this case!
Those guys simply create music that tells you stories of the first World War from the perspective of those affected by it. It's for me some kind of history lesson.
And when I said Black or Death Metal it's because I struggle to differentiate here. The two genres are fluently blending over into one another.
With all the other bands out there claiming World War or in general war themes for them 1914 is totally different. Like I said it's more like a history lesson combined with heavy impact music and both aggressive and desperate vocals.
