This Saturday Sept. 19 I am extremely excited to be a part of the @913wyep Neighborhood Concert Series at the Carnegie Music Hall in Carnegie supporting @blessingjolie !!!! This is a free concert. Doors open at 530 and the show begins at 7pm.

I am bringing some very special guests: Anne Celedonia, Mariko Reid, Anton DeFade , James Johnson III, and Michael Minda. And we will be performing some very deep cut Commonheart songs that haven’t made many setlists lately. We’ve been calling it the 6-8 set 🤣 as it really displays the softer side of my songwriting. I can’t wait to share with you.

A night of Jerry Garcia Band songs with an ALL STAR LINEUP to benefit Grateful Guitars Foundation @gratefulguitarsfoundation !! Pappy @pappypgh will be joined by RANDY BAUMANN @randallbgram on keys, ADDI TWIGG @additwigg & ANNE CELEDONIA @anneelizamusic on vocals, MARS @mars__cast on bass and JOEY WASLOUSKY on drums to deliver two sets of JGB tunes and a colossal Twist!
Grateful Guitars Foundation is in town ALL WEEKEND and on FRIDAY NIGHT, they will be making a donation at the Thunderbird Music Hall @thunderbirdmusichall to Fostering Music @fostering.music at the BROWN EYED WOMEN @browneyedwomen show! Grateful Guitars Foundation will also be at MOONDOG’S @moondogspub on SATURDAY NIGHT, December 5th for this show!
In March of 2025, Grateful Guitars Foundation bestowed a gorgeous replica of Jerry Garcia’s Wolf guitar on Pappy, who has been playing it at shows ever since. This organization, most importantly, helps put instruments in the hands of young people and people that may not otherwise have the means to get such instruments. They have been all over the country donating to dozens of worthy organizations like Fostering Music.
$2 per ticket sold will go directly to Grateful Guitars Foundation for this show! Please help the venue and Grateful Guitars Foundation by getting your tickets in advance! Ticket links in our bio!

@913wyep HELLBENDER BALL: “The Creature From The Mon” OCT 24th. @thunderbirdmusichall

I am absolutely thrilled and honored to perform a set as the one and only @jonimitchell for this year’s hellbender. Joni has challenged my musical perception in ALL the ways. Her fierce independence and sense of self continues to inspire me everyday (especially in a world yearning for authenticity). Come watch me play a dulcimer, some guitar, and keys as I attempt vocal gymnastics on some of the greatest Joni hits. 🙌🏽

It’s hard to put it into words, just how special a group of musicians the @ramblepgh family tends to bring together. This time we were riding the cosmic musical steed that is @pittsburgh_jamband_thecause, fronted by @pappypgh and featuring our own fearless leader, @randallbgram. All of this reimagined through the unhinged artistic entity that is @james.vincent.wylie. Vince is as great a frontman and conversationalist as he is a photographer, and I’m grateful for these beautiful pictures he made of us all. It’s been a year of emotional and psychological ups and downs for me, but this summer I’ve been enjoying the ride. Lots of new music in the works, both for my own solo project and with @farmerjams and the musicians in our greater orbit. Stay tuned… ❤️ JT

Recording and mixing the new @the_commonheart live record was a really great full circle thing for me. In my three years as CH’s FOH engineer we traveled coast to coast several times over and made lifetime friendships. It was really great to come back to that and make this record! Love you all. 🙏🙏🙏

Get @reshare_app • @the_commonheart We’re incredibly proud to announce 📣 our first-ever live LP, LIVE AT MR. SMALLS, arriving August 21st.

A limited vinyl edition will be available, with pre-orders beginning this Friday!
