Not all Autumns are created equal🍂 And finding your best colours goes beyond simply being warm or cool! You might remember Céleste, whose colour analysis revealed that she’s a Warm Autumn! 🧡✨

It’s been almost a month since I shared her results (who knew graphics like these take a lot of work ✨), but I wanted to take you behind the scenes and show you HOW we arrived at that conclusion. During a colour analysis, we’re not simply looking for colours that look beautiful on you. We’re looking at what those colours do for you:

Do they make your complexion appear brighter and more even?
Do your eyes become more brighter and whiter?
Are shadows and fine lines softened or emphasized?

With Céleste, we first established that warm colours brought out her natural colouring. But that was only the beginning! Next, we compared Spring and Autumn before narrowing things down to the different Autumn palettes. And here’s where it gets interesting: even colours within the same season can create noticeably different effects!

In her final comparison, we looked at two shades of yellow from True Autumn and Warm Autumn. Both were warm, but I observed that one emphasized shadows and lines (creating a drained look), while the other brought more brightness and evenness to her complexion.

That’s what I love about colour analysis! Sometimes the smallest differences make the biggest impact!✨

Swipe through to see what I was looking for during Céleste’s session. And remember: the goal isn’t to find colours that look good. It’s to find colours that make YOU look good 🤍
