Three months after going back to work, I started going to mum events thinking I'd meet people like me.

There were incredible women in those rooms. But the format didn't work for me. Baby-focused or too informal. I left without a single meaningful conversation.

I wanted to share the 4am trenches. But I also wanted to meet someone juggling client calls and nap times. For advice, or just camaraderie.

Traditional networking felt equally inefficient. When you're balancing work and a child, time isn't just limited. It comes at a cost. Miss bedtime or miss an opportunity?

I've spent years making the right introductions for brands. I knew what a good room should feel like.

So I built the room I couldn't find. Kin Club.

Curated networking for parents building careers while raising families.

First events are now live. Link in bio.

As a working mum, this was truly everything I’d want out of a professional networking session:

- HONEST conversations and efficient networking with ambitious mums from diverse professional backgrounds, curated through a bespoke “mum matchmaking” experience 🤝

- A raw, vulnerable and educational panel of working mums across industries and principal of an Ofsted Outstanding nursery (thank you Lucinda @youngenglandbayswater, Jessie @wheatdk and Anne @trypdstudios - you are all superwomen 🦸‍♀️)

- Onsite childcare to make attending easier for all mums (thank you @tinies_uk @totterandtumble 🧸)

- Delicious breakfast and goodie bag because we deserve it lol 🥐

In summary: maximising every minute because we know how valuable each one is, especially as a mum. HUGE thank you @tiagi for being the absolute dream partner to work on this with ❤️

And if you’re a mum, brand, or anyone else looking to get involved or attend in future, come join us @secondmumsofthefriendgroup 🫡🫡
