My dad…today he celebrates 48 years of following his dream, starting his company, early mornings, crazy days and long nights pouring everything into Myott Studio…but also into his family, he has never not answered the phone when I’ve called him from 5 to 50yrs old. He never ever said it was easy, quite the opposite but he stayed the course, follow your passion and make sure it has purpose….and means something outside of yourself. Today is 51 years…of my parents loving each other. ❤️ They became parents at 20 years old but always put their love first. They have always been a team, even when I wanted one of them to take my side 😂. They have always seen the beauty in everything and dreamed how beautiful life could be even when we didn’t have much. They taught us to see the world with endless possibilities, that people are good and to leave everything better than you found it. They built a family together, built their house together, built two businesses and worked hard for every penny. But they enjoy the journey not the destination. They are total BFFs, still totally head over heels in love with each other (like adore each other, you should see the smile my dad has on his face when my mom walks in the room and how my mom calls him “my love” like it’s a first date). They would be the first people to tell you life can be hard and while theirs looks easy on the outside, I’ve watched them overcome the hardest things together including me as a teenager, millions of home projects and never going to sleep angry. I can’t even tell you what it feels like to be their kid, to have them as my best friends and living testimony of what true love is and what it requires. Mom and Dad, happy anniversary. ❤️Thank you for taking such good care of each other and us. I’m forever grateful of all the parents in the world, God gave me ya’ll. ❤️

Thank you @maryhall90 @annenwilliams for all the hard work that went into this weekend. We wanted to do something that included our young cousins on the east coast since we are planning to do something small in the fall for our wedding day. We played a get to know the bride and groom game, had my Grandpa Kevin (@wandadunn288) say a few words since he will be officiating us, and ate delicious food with an unbelievable gf pistachio cake for dessert by @hallsktchen all surrounded by family. Truly the best gift. Thank you to all of our Atlanta family for showering us with your presence and love. Also, we made Donald, my Gpa and all my cousins wear tux shirts against their will bc ATL is too hot in the summer. Can’t wait to marry you @dalexreis_ 🤍✨😭 these are the days ✨✨✨✨✨

TO THE OG DREAMER…I’ll never forget the day you taught me to dream Mom…literally with a pen and paper at the kitchen table…lots of questions of “imagine what we could do” and “someday what should we do…” And after 50 years of being my mom, I still catch you dreaming…..hands clasped deep in thought, always believing in the fairytales and that there is nothing in this world we can’t do! My Mom….for most of my life I only saw her as a superhero, she could fix anything, figure out everything and fearlessly fight for our family, whatever it took. Then somewhere along the way I realized she was also a girl, like me, trying to figure out this thing called life and wow what a life you’ve built! Mom I know your story, I know what you’ve overcome, what you’ve built, how strong you are and how you can make fairytales come true for so many people. Thank you for being my kids favorite person….even though I’m still trying to fight you for that position 😂 Happy Birthday Mom ❤️
