MOVE DUO: EP. 4 🎤👯‍♀️

You might recognize this duo from behind the desk… or crushing Warrior Wednesday.

This week, Nadia and Annie are putting their friendship and front desk skills to the test.

Who’s more likely to stay and chat after class? Who’s better at flipping the room? And who can’t resist singing along to the playlist? 👀🎶

Front desk besties 🤝 Warrior Wednesday regulars. Watch to see how well these two really know each other.

UNCOMMON ICE CREAM (7/17)

LOCATION: South End

TASTE: 3.5/5
I tried S’mores and Strawberry Shortcake but ended up going with S’mores (Annie did too). Both were good, but neither blew my mind. The s’mores had actual marshmallows in it which I kind of didn’t love and the actual base wasn’t super flavorful? But I still enjoyed it overall. Last time I was here I got cookies and cream which was pretty mid.

FLAVOR VARIETY: 3.5/5
For a shop called Uncommon ice cream, the flavors weren’t actually that crazy? Idk maybe I’m being too critical. There are definitely some unique ideas, but not that many that spoke to ME in particular. I really like the premise, and because they change their flavors often, I understand why they don’t have millions of options. But I found it a little underwhelming given the name SORRY.

TEXTURE: 3.5/5
Could have been creamier. Didn’t wow me.

PRICE FOR SERVING: 4.5/5
$6.15 + $1 tip is pretty good for the generous scoop I got!

VIBE: 3/5
Obviously the South End vibe is great, and I enjoyed sitting outside, but the inside of the shop itself is pretty small and cramped.

OVERALL SCORE: 18/25
This place was definitely enjoyable, and I’d be interested to go back and try more of the unique flavors, but it wasn’t anything crazy. To quote Abby Lee Miller, “you didn’t stick out to me.”

I may lead the Impact Entrepreneurship in South Africa program, but it is the Program Assistants that turn it into something magical. They go above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly and everyone has an amazing time! This program would not be possible without them.

A huge thank you to Maddy (2022), Meghan, Annie and Victoria (2023), Dylan, Charlotte and Priya (2024), Jon, Ciara and Emily (2025). I can not wait to share who will be leading the charge in 2026!

The students will have better stories about the PAs than I ever would. Feel free to shout out your PAs in the comments.
