POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The Band The Weight Cover Live at Miami, FL (Dec. 20th,, 2019).

“Take a load off, Fanny…” 🎶

I’ve always felt that The Weight isn’t just a song — it’s a journey through characters, stories, and pure American soul.

Here’s my cover of this timeless classic by The Band. I tried to keep the spirit raw and honest, just like the original recording.

If this song means something to you, tell me:
👉 Where were you the first time you heard it?
👉 Which verse hits you the hardest?

Save it if you love roots rock.
Share it with someone who carries “the weight.”

Sometimes I’m in peace, and other times I’m reminded of this really dark and upsetting show we put on, and if I’m reminded we all must be

Congrats on a stellar AAPA year!!! As the Ensemble Company, we made it through fall showcase, hit the ground running then absolutely soared during Pippin, and performed one of the best and most supportive Dramathons. We are so grateful for everyone in our company and, of course, the talented and dedicated Senior company. Until next year <3

What a fantastic honor I had to be apart of this show! Pippin was the perfect way to go out and move on to the next chapter of my life. Forever grateful for this cast and crew.
