Chapter Four: Happily Ever After

Miles traveled, bags packed, and countless memories made all because two people fell in love. Every reunion and road trip since graduating has pointed back to the beauty of God’s timing. What a gift it’s been to celebrate my best friends and the love story the Lord so intentionally wrote for them ❤️

If you were to ask me what brings me the most life, it’s Christ, community and spontaneity. Put those three together and that equals a crazy Colorado trip. Big shoutout to these incredible women who are always down to adventure and never afraid to sing at the top of their lungs NF. Also, if anyone is looking for inspo for an album cover, look no further than my last photo. You’re welcome.

So a lot has happened in the last 10ish days…

It starts with me being back on trail for the last week and a half or so. Feels amazing and quite lucky to be back on trail so quickly after the ankle sprain.. the ankle still hurts at times, I just have to take the hiking much slower and be more intentional to step as flatly as possible in every step. So we’re back to hiking !! Which has been really quite nice

Caught up with Jester and The Principle (Remi and Austin) about a week back into hiking !! But during that in between time… Zell and Annie came out to visit.!! It was a blast to share trail with some St. Louis folk! Super grateful yall made the trek up and enjoyed some of those Connecticut/New York hiking days!

A few days of solo hiking and camping ensued… until I caught up with the guys and the 6 or so other Sobos !! SOBO BUBBLE ALERT!! It’s been a blast to hike with new friends and great to have a larger group around,, it’s been epic hanging with Grape, Fishfry, and Fly Lord, among others!! Some of us took the trek into New York City (where I’m posting this from) and had a silly few days off… they were days off because we were in our crocs so it, of course, doesn’t really count as a day of hiking.

Currently have about 860 miles under my belt. We’re in the New Jersey section of trail right now, but will soon be in the Pennsylvania stint! Still taking our time and enjoying all the little things, super excited for what’s to come

I am super grateful to have been able to be part of the 2022 Medical Mission Trip ❤️❤️ Thanks be to God we have been able to reach so many people with our clinic and been able to give them a light of hope in the midst of their illness. One of the things that I liked the most about this experience was seeing sad people arrive, with many ailments, and seeing them leave with great joy and peace.❤️❤️
