Earlier when I woke up today, a lot of realizations came rushing through. With a lot of uncertainties that we have right now, I just can’t help and ask myself silently—“paano na”.⁣

But then again, I told myself, hindi pwede toh, I can’t afford to be weak kasi nanay ako! Sabi ko nga in one of my post yesterday: sometimes when I need a miracle—I look into my daughter’s eyes then I realize I have already created one.💕 It is because of HER kaya I need to be strong.⁣⁣

The situation we are in today has taught greatest life lessons to all mankind. The LACK of TIME to our FAMILY which we always set aside because of our business or career has now been replaced by BONDING endlessly. Our HOUSE which are often left behind because we always seek to TRAVEL has become our most ideal place. It is now our safest place which we call HOME. Our UNHEALTHY LIFESTYLE which we continuously neglect has now become our FOCUS TO CORRECT and has become our TOP PRIORITY.⁣⁣

I became super conscious when it comes to health so I see to it that I serve nutritious food for the family. I exercise more often and I make sure that we are armed with supplements more than ever so as to keep up to being the STRONG MOM that I should be.⁣⁣

As a mom, it is our job to protect them. Let us let our kids be themselves —let them be little, they will only be that way for awhile. Ang bilis lang ng panahon.... .
Two gifts we should give our children: one is roots and the other is wings. God already knows their future and what they are capable of so we should just let them be the person that they were meant to be. Thus, we must not be so over protective. Easier said than done especially for a parent but they need to tumble sometimes because that’s what would teach them about life’s consequences and control.🍃

An open-letter to my baby Tammy! •

It’s your retreat today baby! I’m not used to not see you at home especially at nyt. 😭 I made this as an open letter coz’ I know mommies like me who also has a daughter like your age might be able to relate on how I feel too. •

I remember when you were a few hours old, I spent hours just watching you sleep and trying to take a mental picture that I could cherish forever. A year later, I still love to watch you sleep and revel in the joy that you have brought into my life.•

Now as you start to grow older and start to explore your independence, I hate to admit it but I know I am going to struggle with having to "let my baby go." Ngayon pa nga lang eh nahihirapan na ako—trust me it’s not getting any easier as time passes by so I will need you to have some patience as we prepare for you to spread your wings and soar high. •
•
As you struggle to gain more and more independence, there are going to be times when I may get upset or disappointed. You won't be able to understand it at that time, but know that I may be disappointed because I want to protect you and I am looking out for your best interest. I want you to live life to the fullest and flourish, but I don't want you to make mistakes that you will regret in the end. •
•
I do want you to know that no matter what, I will be proud of you. You may do something that disappoints me temporarily, but these feelings will surface because I want the best for you. It will be more painful for me to see you hurt or take a wrong turn in life than it will be for you. Disappointment is fleeting, but my love for you is endless. •
•
Embrace this time. It is a period of new experiences and freedom. Yes, you are still under your parents’ rule. Yes, you are not an adult yet. On the other hand, you are not burdened with regular life. You have no bills to pay-you have no job to report to! Your only worries are to study, follow your parents’ rules, and to live a decent life.•

Finally, always remember, you are my finest accomplishment in life and you will always make me and your daddy proud. I may love your daddy, but you have my heart coz’ you have turned my life upside down❤️ Love u so much!
