Another day proving that getting out of your own way pays off 🥲

Pivoted away from the (purely) online coaching space in July to work with @athleticoutcomes and haven’t looked back.

Now, I get to spend some mornings with 2 teams I love (Mueller Crew x Music Lane Lemons 🍋)

Thank you to @lululemon Music Lane crew (big 🗣️@anniedukes for organizing & @rubengamador superstar stylist) for getting us swagged out for the AO Mueller Opening Party 🎉 can’t believe we’re in the home stretch!! 🙌😭

Thank you @lululemon for the gorgeous fit!😍 I ended up with the •Groovy High-Rise Wide-Leg Pant in Black + the Bend This Mesh Bandeau and V-neck Bra in Black! Then as an extra treat to myself I had to grab the •Bend This Boat Scoop Bra- I grabbed this because it feels and looks so lovely on!

Huge shoutout to my girl @anniedukes for making this such a fun experience! 🤩

I am so stoked to join the incredible line up of wonderful teachers and offerings at the first Austin Yoga Festival brought to you by @swiftfitsocial 🙏🏼

You can catch representing @wildheartyoga at 8:15 am with some Slow Flow and Sound! ✨

When your best friends say ‘hey why don’t you get a tattoo machine and do a pop-up at our party in a couple of weeks, you say ‘sure!’

Of course though, as an artist and a teacher, it’s something I’ve considered for a while. Many of my drawings would translate well into tattoos, and anything to make a few more dollars, the possibility of comfort- I’m willing to try.

Humbling how difficult it is. I thought I respected my tattoo artists before. But now, wow.

Also Redding is learning along side me.

Also thanks @lemonwomanphotography for letting me tattoo you even after I screamed.

My work is a study of perspective. I paint multiples of the same subject to explore the many ways it can be seen, felt, and expressed. Through shifts in size, color, and style, I return to a single question: what is true, right here, right now?

Inspired by the poetry of Mary Oliver, I focus on small wonders found in nature, flowers and fruit, rendered on a large scale. I often create pieces in sets, painting the same subject simultaneously to observe contrast, variation, and emotional tone. I also revisit the same forms over time, allowing the work to evolve as I do. I paint on wood using house paint and acrylic, allowing the work to stay physical, simple, and alive.

What began as a practice of improvement has become a practice of curiosity. Painting offers a space where my mind can stay open rather than critical, an antidote to perfectionism, and a place to find joy, attention, and belonging in the family of things.

Big thank you to fellow baddie @anniedukes and her perspective - she captured these photos of me and my art and my dog and my home and yep, this is how I want to be seen. Love you annie.
