Dog Days Are Over
Florence + The Machine
Endlessly thankful for DDC. I couldn’t think of a better place to laugh, sweat, and be myself. All of the lovely teachers and people I’ve met encouraging a welcoming and supportive community. Counting down the days until the next show xx

CUEEE THE RAMBLING 🧡🖤

growing up if you knew me, you knew my love for dance. it has absolutely always been apart of me, my entire life. when i had graduated highschool i thought i’d never be able to dance again (let alone PERFORM D: )once i had left high school i was honestly probably at the lowest and darkest point in my life. i didn’t think it would get any better, i felt stuck. life wasn’t going how i envisioned it for myself and genuinely thought any sort of dreams of creative work i wanted to do weren’t possible. i had stopped doing things for myself and genuinely just felt like a robotttttt for 2 yrs of my life. (never again holy shit)

i’ve been to way more studios than i can keep track of, i never felt at home at any studio..i would just show up for myself and my passion for dance.
no words can even begin to describe how grateful i am to have found DDC especially at the time in my life that i did.
@dominiquedawkins_ , nothing could match or even replace the energy you have created in your building. i am so grateful for you and the people you have around DDC. thank you for reminding me who tf i ammm and continuing to push and inspire me 🤍 i absolutely adore you and look up to you. i hope to be just like you one day hahaha 🫶🏻

DDC, a place that’ll push you FARR and i mean wayyy far past your limits, but the energy in the building makes you feel you could do anything. nothingggg can compare to the vibes and community here, once you step foot in DDC you instantly become family. they will hype you up any day, even at your lowest.

dance has really brought me back to myself and i am so glad it was DDC to have been that safe place for me to reaalllyyy come back to my light and energy. you all inspire me so much. thank you for everything!🤍
i love watching you all chase your dreams and dance your hearts out!
