BPAD Winter Break Service Trip 🤍

Over winter break, our members headed to CHI for our annual service trip, spending the week giving back to the community while strengthening bonds with one another.

We volunteered with the Greater Chicago Food Depository and Chicago Animal Care & Control, where we packed food boxes for families in need, helped clean and restock facilities, and spent time socializing with cats and dogs to make them more comfortable & more likely to get adopted.

Here are a few words from our Service Trip Chair, @pjbower3 :

“The winter break service trip was an amazing opportunity to serve the Chicago area while also building community with fellow members. Helping fight food insecurity and assisting the lowest-funded animal control center in the country were two incredibly meaningful experiences. Exploring Chicago with some of my best friends was something I’ll never forget. I’m so grateful that I had the chance to organize this trip and spend time with such amazing people.”

Huge shoutout to @jennaamare and @kareenajain_ for all of their help in making this trip possible. We couldn’t have done it without you! 😁
