Fiddler 2.0 🎻 Hodel stretched me as an artist in ways I both knew and didn’t know I needed. But, as Sheldon Harnick so brilliantly wrote, there is beauty in such growth: “Seedlings turn overnight to sunflowers, blossoming even as we gaze.”

What a privilege it has been to say/sing the words of Fiddler on the Roof every night for the past 6 months. I’ve gained lifelong friends and mentors through this beautiful show.

Fiddler’s timelessness rings true in the calamity of our world, and sharing it with audiences has brought me hope that at least one person walked away with a new perspective / call to action to change it for the better.

Thank you to director @theevanpappas , choreographer @debroshe , MD @jwb33 , @michaelcassara , @thecarsonadleragency , and everyone @theargyletheatre for their meaningful contributions to this transcendent piece. And to everyone who supported me near and far [from the home I love], whether that was coming to the show or being there in spirit: I thank you, and I love you. Also to note, this was my first time understudying a principal role in a professional show, and I got to go on twice for Fyedka!! Everyone was so supportive, and I truly cannot thank everyone enough for the encouragement. I miss this cast and this show so much, and hope to be able to do this show again someday!!

6/15/25- Today would’ve been my grandfather’s 100th birthday. Today’s last Fiddler performance was for him, for my family, for all my Jewish ancestors, and for my whole present-day Jewish community, that I am always and forever proud to be a part of. 🙏🏻✡️

Getting to spend the last 2 months in Anatevka with this incredible company was such a dream. Not only is everyone in this group ridiculously talented, but everyone has a heart of gold, and it really felt like we were one big family up there. Thank you for your brilliant direction @theevanpappas, your incredible choreography @debroshe and @sakinyc, and your fantastic music direction @jwb33. To the cast and crew, you will be missed so, so much! Happy trails to you all and I can’t wait until next time! ❤️🎻
