Concessions (US Premiere)
Woodstock Film Festival 10/16

Had a blast shooting this (on film!!) two years ago and it was so cool to see it come to fruition. A pleasure to share the screen with fellow @malissayoungmgmt clients @victoralbaum and @anniewgrier! Keep your eyes peeled for upcoming festival screenings across the country.

Also scroll to the end for a few pictures on set for a new feature I shot in mid-October. More details to come on that (in a year or two- film is crazy!)…

So lucky and grateful to get to do what I love with incredible people!

oh and by the way, one of the great joys in my life has been this gem @concessionsmovie and these kick-ass artists - too many thanks due to even begin to count here. Maybe this is your reminder that if everyone tells you no, you can do it yourself. See you soon @terraprodco

The feature film “Concessions” premiered at the 78th Edinburgh International Film Festival, and our Annie Grier was there to catch the action firsthand, and pay tribute to the life of Michael Madsen among his family and peers 🙏🎬✨ She plays Monika in an incredibly fun scene opposite Michael 🍿🥤Thank you to CD Vincent Carson and his team, as well as the producers that invited Annie to Edinburgh to see her work debut on the big screen! 👏🤩

okay here’s my own post about @concessionsmovie
•
trust is hard to come by in this industry, and i cannot help but always trust that @masbouzidi will deliver in passion, quality, and a romp-roarin’ good time. I met him on zoom when he was just a 19 year-old chunk of coal thanks to the incredible @olive__ryan who found me on actor’s access. i knew right away that Mas had the “it factor”, but little did i know that my entire world would open up through the process of making a short film in Albany in the middle of the pandemic. and along the way, i made wonderful friends and collaborators such as @johnmichaelkeville (who i’m mad i didn’t get a pic with!!!). thank you @ramkhagram and @malcolmbrainerd for doing the scary business of producing a feature. @xpokeyx and @lavag1r1 your jobs confuse the absolute shit out of me and i have no idea how you’re always doing a million things at once, with gratitude and respect, thank you. a billion thanks to @zhe_derrick_chen for making this silly ensemble of talented folks look so damn good 🥵…and of course, to my OG scene partner @boogi.jp I love love love you. we made something i’m SO PROUD of. probs hella cringe for making such a long post, but it’s not often a movie where you yap a bunch world premieres at @edfilmfest so…i’m riding this high for a while 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🫡🎞️❤️ #saveyourcinema

Huge congrats to wunderkind Mas Bouzidi, whose incredible debut feature CONCESSIONS just World Premiered in 35mm at @edfilmfest.

Mas is the ultimate cinephile and his work will be studied by future cinephiles.

So glad he gave me an excuse to get a new pocket square.
