Yesterday I turned 24…

I would have made this post yesterday, but over the weekend my family and some of my closest friends helped me celebrate my 24th with a 24 hour birthday!!

Accomplishments this year:

Learned how to drive manual and I now own a car!

Got my first job out of college, and landed a new job starting in January which I am stoked for!

Officially moved out of my parent’s house with my brother Joey!!

Had my first adult relationship

Have continued my dedication to Jiu Jitsu earning 3 more stripes on my Blue Belt!

My friends and I made 27 new YouTube Videos for my YouTube channel, something I’m extremely passionate about!

Hit level 50 in hardcore World of Warcraft (rest in peace to my orc warrior 😔)

Strengthened many friendships. Some new and many old!

Had the courage to stick up for myself more this year! Had the tough conversations. Sometimes conflict is necessary and I strived to be less scared of it this year.

Was in the top 1000 listeners of Sugar Ray

Survived Double Pink Eye

Called my mom every day and visited home weekly.

What I learned:

Only you can make real change in your life. Circumstances will change, people change, nobody can carry you to where you want to be. This year I stayed resilient and dedicated to an optimistic mindset.

I also learned the more I go through life the less I know.

I am still the same AJ just a bit more experienced. Dedicated to being the best son, brother, friend, and person I can be. Loyalty and Respect are still driving principles for me, and I still have an inferno of passion to achieve my goals. I’m extremely grateful for this year, for my family, and for my friends. The amazing people I surround myself with is the thing I am most proud of in life. Thank you for reading :)
