🥏🇦🇺World team disc golf championships ~ Perth, Australia 🇦🇺🥏

The tournament I’ve looked forward to since January. And finally it came.

For the third time, I had the honor to represent the Netherlands, for the second time at a world team disc golf championships. What I love about this format is representing your country as a team. The preparations made us a warm, hard working and motivated team heading to Australia with a goal: get the amazing experience and do our best, reach top 16. Together we shared laughter, tears, stories and the most fun we could get. For once a year I was playing with @fleurverberk instead of against her, and damn, we were a good team fighting against Estonia 🇪🇪

Thanks @mikevalk for the amazing battle against the USA, what a GREAT start of the tournament! It gave me confidence for the whole week!

Thanks @discgolf_teamnl for a week I’ll remember forever. Thanks for being a warm family which every member of the team could count on. And not to forget: thanks for carrying my bag when I had to play 🥰 We always made sure everyone was comfortable and everyone could play at their best.

We made history by ending up in 15th (!!) place. I’m so proud! Let’s keep the sport growing in our little country!

Thanks to everyone who made this week possible and unforgettable🫶🏼
