Year 4 of chasing a 24-Hour World Record. Who’s in? 👀🚣‍♀️

For the fourth year, we’re putting together a crew to take on 24 straight hours on the Concept2 RowErg during the 24-Hour Rowathon.

It’s a long night. There are tired legs, middle-of-the-night delirium, questionable snacks, a LOT of rowing…and somehow even more laughs. 😂 And every year, it ends up being one of those experiences we’ll never forget.

Not only did we have some amazing memories and performances but also had 39 members who qualified for Quarterfinals.

First comp back after becoming a mama 🥹

Almost didn’t happen because of a silly flu, but I got healthy enough to take the floor @fittestofthecoast and leaned HARD on my teammate. Thanks for being such an incredible partner and man do I miss working out with you @cardenb_ !

Lots of surprises with what my body was able to do 10 months post partum and not 100% healthy. Shocked and ecstatic that I could do multiple reps on the heavy clean and jerk bar 🤯! I did have a little glitch on one of the workouts that probably cost us second place, but I tried my absolute hardest and that’s all I could give in the moment. It’ll probably only haunt me in my sleep one night a week for forever lol.

So incredible to be on the podium with some incredible ladies and I’m super grateful for all the wonderful people that helped support me this weekend! Love this sport, I’ve missed competing so much and all of the amazing people it’s brought into my life! 💕 Can’t wait for the rest of the season! @blacklisted.hq @mpfitco

Back on the floor before the chalk even settled.

Finished the individual comp.
Podium.
No recovery day.

Straight into team with AnnMaree.

We came out hot.
Two event wins.

Then it turned into a grind.

Toes to bar when your grip is shot.
Heavy bars when your legs are done.
Box jumps when your lungs are burning.
Bike and row sprints that test your will more than your fitness.

And today we stood on top.
1st place.

I love competing because of the people it attracts.
Men and women who refuse to shrink with age.
Who choose discipline.
Who chase strength in body and mind.
Who still know how to laugh in the middle of the grind.

I preach this every day.
In the clinic.
On the floor.
In conversations about what is possible.

This weekend was not just talk.
It was practice.
In person.

There’s just something about an off season comp that brings the energy 🔥

Came out and took 1st place overall at the @thelegendschampionship 🥇 with… the first ever Leaders jersey AND 1st place jersey made it even sweeter. Huge shoutout to @thiccboi for the coolest jerseys and for hosting the smelling salt competition because apparently winning that was one of my favorite highlights too 😂💨

Other moments I won’t forget: watching @annmaree1008 absolutely crush the muscle up workout, then casually giving us a little pop and drop during her shuttle runs 💃🔥, the great times with our Airbnb crew, the accidental jersey swap with @aida_canovas74 😅, and having my second mother right there keeping a watchful eye on me the entire weekend ❤️

Grateful for the competition, the people, the laughs, and the podium moments.

Now I’ve got a little 🔥 ready to train for the upcoming season! Thanks @thelegendschampionship for another opportunity to push our mental and physical capacities!

A new world record for 10 women.
The bar just keeps rising—and I’m blown away.

I’m not going to lie… this year was HARD.
We switched up the strategy, we pushed deeper than we planned, and I pushed myself further than I thought possible.

Thank you to the ladies who showed up this year—and to those who’ve been part of this in past years. Every year builds on the last, and we wouldn’t be here without the foundation those early efforts created.

We came out. We rowed. We pivoted. We dug in.
And we absolutely crushed it.

I’m so proud of the effort, the grit, and the heart that went into this record. And I can’t wait for what’s next.

And a special thank you to Diego for capturing these moments. There were countless in-between moments too, but these photos made me smile, made me pause, and made me grateful all over again.

I was invited by three of my rowing idols to participate in setting another women’s group world record 24-hr indoor rowing marathon. This is the 3rd year Crossfit Weddington has done the WR event as part of their 24-hr Rowathon fundraiser. We blew past their previous record with 45-ish minutes left. Thrilled to have been able to join this amazing group of ladies and finally meet them in person. I’m exhausted but happy.😊 @concept2inc #indoorrowing #worldrecord @crossfitweddington #rowathon
