🇺🇦 The Ukrainian national anthem, performed by traditional Scotland-inspired bagpipers @redpipeband 🇺🇸 from North Carolina State University @ncstate—a true gift and one of the most sacred and meaningful moments of our wedding.

As we signed our marriage license, our guests did not immediately realize that our American bagpipers, Stanton and Darrell, were playing the Ukrainian national anthem. But moments later, as they recognized the melody, our friends rose from their seats and began singing together.

It brought us to tears. It was so special and so powerful—as though generations of Ukrainians before us were present in that timeless melody, giving us their blessing.

This is a moment we will always carry in our hearts. Glory to Ukraine! 🇺🇦

Thank you, @andrii.berdii_production, for capturing this beautiful moment, and thank you to our wedding officiant, @annmckenzie01, who blessed our union and honored our Ukrainian and Scottish heritage throughout the ceremony.

There are so many bridal boutiques you could choose from… so when the venues you love invite Bride of the Pines to be part of their wedding showcases, it truly means the world to us 🤍

One of the questions we hear most often is, “How do I know where I should shop?”

One of the best places to start is by asking your venue. They’ve worked with hundreds of brides, partnered with countless vendors, and know who truly cares for their couples. Being invited to these showcases is an honor we never take for granted.

We love meeting newly engaged couples, helping brides envision their wedding day, and connecting with some of North Carolina’s most talented wedding professionals. It’s a reminder that the best weddings happen when passionate vendors come together to create an unforgettable experience.

A huge thank you to The Maxwell for hosting such a beautiful showcase and to this incredible vendor team for making the day so special:

And to every bride who stopped by our booth—thank you. We can’t wait to welcome you into the boutique, hand you your very first bouquet of dresses, and help you find the one 🤍✨

Their love is for the ages. 🥰We had such a good time celebrating with Chelsea and Jacob and working with the team they put together. 11/10. 🫶

The best part about being a wedding photographer, besides the cake, is supporting lovely people during their happiest day. Our goal is to be part of the winning combination to a perfect event. 📸
