Coming up on 4 months since moving here, and wow——the switch up my life has had in the past year….From full time solo traveling, bopping around to a new country each month and living out of my backpack since I was 23—to being 26 settling down in California, hosting a picnic for St Patrick’s day.

I am so grateful for all of it. For both versions of life. Grateful to know it is possible to have all of your desires and dreams - and not have to pick just one.

I have recently been thinking about how I am not traveling anymore… haha I think it is just now hitting me. But then I think back to those final months of traveling, & how I wanted nothing more than to have my own bed, friends who live down the road who I could call and see each day, and even how badly I craved a typical American bathroom lol.

I love traveling so much and I’d be lying if I said the bug isn’t starting to hit me just a weeeee bit (those non stop Hawaii flights are starting to look real nice). But evenings like this make me stop and realize how grateful I am to have created this home base. Looking around at all my friends that are quite literally a couple streets away- ahhh. I feel supported, at ease, and most of all, I feel at home🥹
