Wow.

Being part of the beginning, creation, and world premiere of this production didn’t truly hit me until rehearsals started. Even now, I still don’t have the words to fully describe the emotions I have toward this production, this cast, and this entire experience.
I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to be cast alongside so many incredible creatives. Every single cast member brought something unique, and their talent is truly out of this world. Watching everything come together so seamlessly was special to witness.
Although this is a bittersweet ending, I don’t believe this is our last night at Rue Bayou.
Portraying Tiny has been one of my favorite roles in my acting journey so far, and to be trusted as a lead in a production like this is something I’ll never take for granted. I thank God for this opportunity because I truly believe it has opened new doors for me.
Every night we performed, I wasn’t myself—I was Tiny. And hearing the applause once the lights came up is a feeling I’ll never forget. It’s something I tried to take in every single night because you never know when you’ll get the chance to be on stage again.
Having people ask for my autograph, take pictures with me, and show me so much love has been one of the most surreal and rewarding feelings I’ve ever experienced.
I’m truly grateful for every moment spent bringing this project to life, and I can’t wait to see what’s next on this acting journey.
Thank you to the Rue Krewe for trusting me with Tiny and giving me this opportunity. Forever grateful ❤️

Just a remarkable capture of the mood and faces of a remarkable show. Shout out to @corypattak for lighting - Shauna Leone @fussymabel - for the clothes and Raquel Jackson @setdesignerraquel for the set. And to my producing partner Mark Rubinsky for the ongoing journey. @rubinskym
