A year ago today the @phillyinquirer released an article revealing to the public that the University of the Arts would be closing effective immediately. This was the 150 year old institution I had graduated from only two weeks prior, and one of the only Philly art schools left on the "Avenue of the Arts". The week that followed consisted of 24/7 protest, community, love, and art as UArtists from all eras said their goodbyes. I stuck around and captured the events of each day, and this posts is just an excerpt of the magic that I witnessed.

I'm excited to say that on Friday, June 6th at 4:00 during the multi-day Celebration of Life hosted by @scoutltd , I will be debuting more work from that final week and giving my very first artist talk! I would love to see any and all of your faces there...and you might even be among the first to hear a special announcement!! ;)
