We have 72 tickets available (purchased in advance) Please bring email confirmation with you to the event! Each ticket is $25 and part of the proceeds will go to support local mental health resources. How to purchase below 👇🏼 With each ticket purchase you will receive a Special Anniversary Latte & you'll also get to make your mark by painting your own coffee cup on a community canvas to display permanently in Anonymous! Don't drink coffee but still want to support mental health and celebrate Anonymous? Donations will be accepted or you can gift your ticket to another. So come paint with me @artemisrisingstudios and say thank you to Terrance for creating a great community space for us! No skills necessary! Anonymous Coffee was founded in 2023 by Terrance Maigi after his bipolar diagnosis inspired him to create a safe space for mental wellness. The name “Anonymous” represents the millions of people who live with mental and chronic illnesses in silence - hiding their diagnoses from the world around them. He has created a space where there is no need to mask and no judgements. Every cup you enjoy here supports our partnership with NAMI Virginia, because he believes that mental health care should be as accessible as your morning coffee. I have supported women and families for over 25 years during pregnancy, birth and postpartum. PMADs (Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders) is not talked about enough. We always talk about the pregnancy and birth but not what can come afterwards for many women. October is also pregnancy loss and awareness month and a portion of the proceeds will be given to @postpartumsupportvirginia

I love making tea, but sometimes it’s nice when someone makes tea for me. Thanks @anonymouscoffee.co for an excellent brew for my study session. I’m working towards a masters in counseling. #teatime #counselingstudent #study #mentalhealth #mastersprogram

Theodore Sen Su was born Wednesday afternoon at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center, weighing 6 lbs. 14 oz. We are overjoyed and incredibly grateful to welcome our third child, Teddy Z, to our family. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire Family Maternity Unit at Sentara, including Dr. Francis, pediatrician Dr. Dwyer, Kellie, Bre, Jamie, Lisa, Becky, Whitney, Kim, Ciara, Deb, and Firusa. From beginning to end, we were treated with extraordinary kindness, compassion, and care. We feel truly blessed to have had such a wonderful team looking after Mom and Teddy. As a small expression of our appreciation, we brought the team an assortment of sweets from MiA’s Bakery (@4_mias) along with coffee from Anonymous Coffee (@anonymouscoffee.co). A special thank-you to Mia, my business partner Terrance, and our manager Emi for helping us put everything together and making it possible for us to share a little gratitude with the wonderful people who cared for our family. We were discharged yesterday, and Mom and Teddy Z are now home, resting comfortably and surrounded by lots of love.

Each month I put together an enews roundup of coffeehouse news for the 757. Here’s some of what I found for September. Instrumental Coffee roasters are moving from their trailer into a brick & mortar space, formerly (Staz a licious) on Independence Blvd Another local coffee trailer, Bear House announced they’re opening a cafe too, likely early 2027, in Bayside area of Virginia Beach. In Norfolk a new Korean cafe has opened in Ghent, called Seoul Society, in the space that was previously The High Cup. Top Knot Artisan bakery has closed their VB location to prepare for their new space on Volvo Pkwy in Chesapeake, which will have coffee too. If you want the news in your inbox please subscribe at the link in the bio
