Surveillance chandeliers built out over the @another.castle.la dancefloor, A.I. Dystopia edition.

Huge thanks to @nyanbun for having a level of trust in me that often borders on delusion.

Very happy to be back in sunny California 🌞 love it out here, the balmy sun is doing wonders after months of grey northern-Europe winter 🪽

Playing an extended 4.5 hour set tonight in San Francisco at @__endzeit 1.30-6AM, almost exactly one year after I first played for them here last year, let’s see where we go 👽🌀

Then on to NY & LA trance-tag-teaming with bro @marius___bo at @signalnyc and @information.program 🤝

13.02:: Endzeit, San Francisco 🇺🇸
26.02:: Lot Radio, NYC 🇺🇸
28.02:: Signal, NYC 🇺🇸
07.03:: Information, LA 🇺🇸

Some film 📸 memories from last year’s trip to this side of the globe ~ beloved Joshua Tree, snow in NY, and a special morning at @another.castle.la 🫶

Some events and work from the last month-

1- Playground, an absolutely brutal deployment with some additional subs from Elith 🫶🏻

2 - Munchies Too, an insane franken-stack combo with DemPasswords and Elith, an alignment speedrun on OSM with a very unforgiving time window (diesel is expensive...)

3 - Sebastian tightening drivers on the unknown dual tapped horns. These things are super bizarre and if OSM had not deleted the trace measurements I would have posted... will snag them next time.

4 - Tested some more affordable bedliner... I'll have to re-coat the whole cab with Duratex 😭

5 - Following OSHA guidelines 👍🏻

6 - Some footage I sneaked at Another Castle 🚫🤐 I didn't photograph the deployment, which I attempted to optimize by evenly spacing pairs of subs at quarter wavelength distance to best cover the wide room and then painstakingly tuned for the occasion, but I'll let this video serve as a testament to the energy in the room.

Thanks to Ari, Elith, Sebastian, my wife Sonia, and anyone who's lifted a cab for being part of this weird and crazy mission to spread love and joy through music.

With love and respect for all the musicians and organizers crazy enough to dedicate their lives to this absurd pastime 🐉🙏🏻

a rapid framework for soft collapse

this custom play structure stood for just over a day, about the time it took for the cut flowers adorning it to begin to wilt

∞ thanks to @nyanbun for creating the @another.castle.la world into which this project materialized and to all the vital assist from @t_nguyen_t , tim, @lufrooo, ado, max. pics by @caseymdennison .

Breaking my grid silence for a quick but sincere thank you to @another.castle.la for all their efforts and dedication to building such a deeply special space that has been a real connecting force for so many of us.

Thank you to the planners, the professionals, the amateurs pitching in just for the love of it, the DJs, and the dancers. 💙

It was a real joy to work on this. And to see so many of these signs go home with you all was an absolute delight. If you got one please DM me a picture of it in its new home, it would mean a lot 😊

The recording of my set at @thelotradio on Saturday is now online on Soundcloud & YouTube ❄️🦋🌀

For this set I wanted to dive into the realms of lucid dreaming, halftime~trippy~swirly~music for late night driving and moonlit astral travel ~

Whilst playing this set it started snowing heavily, and when I stepped outside after the show there was 10cm of snow on the ground! So this mix is also a soundtrack for the soft-coldness of nighttime snowfall 🌙

I’m returning home from a magical two weeks across North America - the DIY party spirit is truly alive over here, and I’m v grateful to have played for such amazing crews building events with so much love and dedication.

Many thanks to @__endzeit @directtoearth @another.castle.la @discosmovimiento @nowadaysnyc @stm_souslaterre @rec.esss for having me over, and big love to all the wonderful people I’ve met & spent time with on these travels, hope we can hang again soon 🫶

First, major thank you to @another.castle.la for last weekend — that was a wild morning and not quite like anything I’ve experienced in LA as a DJ or dancer. My first time getting a full nights rest before DJing (so nice?!) and waking up fresh to sling some 140bpm techno records from 9am-12pm. If you told me a few years ago there’d be a queer techno party that stays full until noon in LA I’d say there’s no way! That only happens in New York or Berlin. Of course, things are changing here thanks to the fresh energy and vision of new creative forces on the block. Hat tip to @nyanbun and team, you’re onto something special 🏰✨ swipe for glimpses and a voice note someone took in the last 30 minutes. Layering Plastikman-Spastik into the mix on a third deck gets old lol.

Back to the music this weekend! Playing a techno/ electro set for @shelter.la Saturday night 1230-230am, and before that I’ll be easing into the night with house and disco vibes at @saturdaynighthouse
