In high school, confidence wasn’t optional.
At a predominantly white school, I stood out—switching up my hair, wearing big lashes, bold jewelry, and heels. I showed up loud because I had to.

In college, I joined the first and finest, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. That’s where I refined my confidence. I began to redefine what it meant to be a woman. To take up space with intention.

Then came the classroom. Leadership roles. Graduate school. Certifications. Degrees.
I shifted into survival mode. I kept my head down. Got the work done. Preserved enough of myself to keep going.

Now I lead across schools. I run a growing business that centers equity and impact. I’ve built a team. I’ve built capacity. And I’ve built a presence that speaks before I say a word.

Yes, it’s been hard. Yes, I’ve been stretched. But I’m still here. Still evolving. Still planting seeds that are starting to bloom in ways I never imagined.

New season. New clarity. Same purpose.
And I know something big is coming.
