September is Pain Awareness Month. 💙

I’ve lived with chronic pain for many years, and one thing I’ve learned is that pain doesn’t always look the way many people expect it to.

Sometimes you can see it—in the braces, the mobility aids, the exhaustion, or the moments when simply moving is difficult.

But, for me, sometimes chronic pain looks like travel, adventures, exercise, laughter, and time with the people I love. Those moments don’t mean the pain disappeared. They’re part of my life alongside it.

You can’t know how much pain someone is experiencing just by looking at them. And a full, active, joyful life doesn’t make chronic pain any less real. 💙
