It was an honour for me to be part of the 2nd edition of avant-garde’s fashionshow by @culturelles_mtl ! Big S/o to the amazing & inspiring team behind the scenes that took great care of us & made this happen! It was such a fun experience, I met so many beautiful souls 💖

Thank you @maycie.ann_x0 for the modeling 101! It was a great learning experience for someone coming out of their comfort zone! I hope I delivered malgré le stress 😭 🙌🏾

@anouk_locht est designer de mode, diplômée depuis décembre 2024. Son parcours est marqué par une vie entre l’Afrique, l’Europe et aujourd’hui Montréal, ce qui nourrit profondément son approche créative. À travers @maisonlocht , elle explore les questions d’identité, de mémoire et de transmission, en s’inspirant du mélange des cultures, de l’histoire et de la résilience de nos ancêtres. Son travail s’exprime notamment à travers le patchwork, symbole de parcours et de liens entre les territoires. Sa vision de la mode est à la fois politique et engagée : elle valorise la représentation, la diversité et s’inscrit dans une démarche de slow fashion.

Episode 5 - Anouk

@anouk_locht is a fashion designer who graduated in December 2024. Her journey has been shaped by a life spent between Africa, Europe, and now Montreal, which deeply informs her creative approach. Through @maisonlocht , she explores themes of identity, memory, and cultural transmission, drawing inspiration from the blend of cultures, history, and the resilience of our ancestors. Her work is expressed notably through patchwork, a symbol of journeys and connections between territories. Her vision of fashion is both political and socially conscious: she values representation and diversity and is committed to a slow fashion approach.
