Born into a family of carpet weavers in Karachi, @ansarialert built one of Pakistani fashion's most recognisable signatures, starting with a small studio and an even smaller budget. More than two decades later, his couture is known for kaleidoscopic palettes, zardozi and mirror work set on silhouettes cut with real precision, and a joy that refuses to be toned down.
