Beautiful day celebrating my Ma, our Nana! Our best friend. Our biggest cheerleader. The one who rescued me.

The one who takes the time to talk through any situation. The one who shows how “retail therapy” can work! The one who took us to Disney World too many times to count. The one who taught me about helping animals in need. The one who taught us how to dress the part, be our best, and how to say our prayers!

The one who helped teach me that you do not need money, things or big homes to feel joy……she taught us that *chipped beef on toast* can be just as special as any 5-star restaurant! The one who taught me how to make a house, a HOME.

The one who has handmade countless quilts, my daughters’ gorgeous christening gowns, and endless knit scarves, socks, and throws! The one who taught me how to make the most perfect poached egg, avocado toast, and chai tea😋

The one who answers every question I ever have about life! The one who taught me to never need anyone for anything, but that it’s ok to ask for help…..the one who shows us God is LOVE every.single.day.

The one who made ME a large part of who I am today, and she has changed all of our lives in immeasurable ways. Happy birthday / week / month to YOU🤍

Summer 2024 came and went ~ maybe the fastest ever ~ it seems each year is getting faster and faster! We soaked up as much sun, surf, soul & mountain time as possible ~ wedged between an incredibly busy work schedule & all the things in between (including a basement remodel)!! We are so very grateful to live in Athens, a quick trip to our cabin in the mountains and not too far from our home on the coast🌞feeling super grateful to have had the time off & away with friends and family!

Happy Birthday to my beautiful friend Britt @bakbrittb aka Karl’s Wide Open! It’s hard to believe we met nearly 21 years ago in Powderhorn Park, which led to the EPIC summer of Camp Spruce💫and too many memories to count…..including meeting phish, having your chest signed, taking the school bus to a show in NOLA, meeting @ivanneville … rooftop visits in NYC, what are we doing with our 9 lives😻skiing A LOT, campouts in Alpine, your beautiful wedding in Punta Mita, board (Ward) meetings at DSG, and YOU can sign my yearbook😂. ‘Twas the Night Before a Soccer ⚽️ Tournament & all through the ‘ville,
The Oconee Flamingos 🦩 were practicing their drills….
The medals were hung by the chimney with care 🥇
In hopes that a new one would soon be placed there 💓
The girls were all nestled so snug in their beds 🛌 while visions of CHAMPIONSHIPS danced in their heads 🏆 ……..

Our team had a float in the Watkinsville Christmas Parade yesterday, and there were so many great ideas for the “storybook” theme this year!

It was the perfect (book) end to a quintessential season, marked by the sounds and sights of the holidays in picturesque downtown Watkinsville 🎄🦩

Thank you to all the Mommas (& Dads + siblings) who worked tirelessly to pull this off & who continue to make our FLOCK the best they can be!!
