Together, we transformed the streets of Amersfoort into a lively parade (on two of the hottest days of June, no less) ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

This community project brought together artists, musicians, theatre students, dancers, and kids from Amersfoort to consider and celebrate the diversity of nature 🌿

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to see us on the streets of Amersfoort, thank you for the good vibes and we hope to see you again soon! 😍

🎭What story do you see in this performance? And what types of stories would you like to tell with puppets? Our dear friend Sol Miranda @ansiosailuminada will help us create puppet shows on 30 August at @tentrotterdam .

🌞Sol Miranda (they/them) is an Ecuadorian-Jewish performer specialized in puppetry and clowning. They see puppets and the clown as pathways to break the molds of reality and recover the pleasure of (child)play. Sol began doing small puppet acts in 2022 on public squares, restaurants, schools and small independent theatres across Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia. Over the past four years Sol has created a variety of DIY puppet shows and experimented with different styles, including glove, shadow, foam, hybrid, muppets, and objects. They recently completed an advanced training in puppetry at the School of Puppets in the Hague.

🎫 Join our program in collaboration with @tentrotterdam and @sssunflowersssoup , we’ll be building puppets, telling stories and playing together.

Let’s go to That Silly Place, lots of people said. And they did. Our first, completely and excessively sold-out show was a feast for the eyes, the ears and many more senses. We had a total blast watching this amazing line-up of many-faced talents unfold. Magic truly was created. ‘T was a night never to be forgotten.

Thanks to our brilliant lineup
Fer Rodil, Lara Mikocki, KC, Rutger Lemm, Sol Mirandx, Prashant Khanchandani, Gina Goda, Ronan Brosnan, and Rein Mulder as the MC.

Did you miss out on all this hilarious silliness and can’t wait to enjoy a night of high-level, surprising comedy at one of the coolest, coziest, cultiest bars of Amsterdam-Noord? Tickets for our NEXT edition on April 30th are available NOW. Get them while you can, through the link in our bio. You fools (but in a good way).

Sol Mirandx is a Dutch-Ecuadorian performer exploring physical comedy, make-belief and the joy of child-like play through clown and puppetry. They strive for their shows to be sincere, pure, and delirious. Sol currently studies at the School of Puppets in the Hague and got trained by various street and theatre clowns in Quito, Ecuador.

How about that for something to see!?

Come see Sol and their magic on the 19th of March in @subcult.ams
