Finally saying goodbye to summer. A beautiful chapter of my life and yet one of the most challenging, thank you for letting me grow and change and for being everything I needed 🌅

Just a little thought that’s been floating around in my head, and this mornings ride was a beautiful example of it 🦋.

This drum corps season, I had the honor of being a part of three staffs, and two wonderful productions:

I returned to the Caballeros (my 7th year with this organization 😨) as a trumpet technician and a visual technician, where I also had the privilege of cowriting a bunch of choreography in their visual package.

I was also a movement specialist for the Blue Knights hornline where I seem to be remembered for teaching sit rolls (lol).

This was my second year on the other side since aging out and it was an extraordinary summer. Teaching people that are so passionate about this quirky, beautiful activity that I know a few things about is such a gift. I loved and will cherish every moment I was granted these past few months. These ensembles were absolutely electric in Indy and I’m so proud and lucky to enjoy the products that they have brought to life.

Lastly, a huge huge thank you to everyone I’ve had the pleasure of teaching with. I’m so thankful to continue learning from all the wonderful educators surrounding me.

This summer was awesome!

Confession: I truly love teaching, and I love every class I teach… but if I had to choose a favorite in this season of my life, Hot Power Yoga has my heart. 🤍

It’s the class that leaves me riding a high for the next 24 hours. The one where I drive home blasting one of my cool down songs, replaying the room in my head, and usually crying happy tears somewhere along the way.

Tonight’s class brought a lot of newness. New transitions, new flow, new moments that had me overthinking all day long as I created it. But I should’ve known better than to doubt this crew. You all moved through it so beautifully and confidently, and watching that unfold made me so proud.

I’ll miss you guys next week while I’m gone, and I already can’t wait to be back in the room with you. ✨

couldn’t ask for a more beautiful team. The execution was unreal. We show up week after week, building form and rhythm together and it really shows. I’m just so proud of them 💙 @rootgroupx

2025 Arc
By far one of the most difficult years of my life full of psychological hurdles and insurmountable personal growth. I feel so much gratitude and relief to have survived this year but also come out the other side with more memories and experiences I’ll appreciate looking back.

Highlights of 2025 -
Taught 3 ensembles that medaled at WGI Championships - Fishers PSO🥈, Rhythm X PIW🥈, Elevate WIO🥉
Turned 26 ♉️
Joined the Blue Knights Visual Staff and helped the corps push back into DCI Finals 💧🌊🧡
Started year 3 as Visual Caption Head at Fishers - BOA Columbus and Orlando 4A Champions with Best Visual, highest placement at BOA Indy Regional Finals in school history 🐅🧸
Celebrated 5 years with my partner in life and biggest supporter in Disney 💛
Offered my services as a visual consultant and choreographer for programs in Indiana and Texas
Got my first judging gig for marching band in 2026!
Auditioned and joined Relevations Dance Company, being a performer again for the first time in 5 years💃🏻
Returning to my roles at Fishers, Elevate, Rhythm X, and Blue Knights, as well as joining the Boston Crusaders Visual Staff for 2026!
Gained so many new friends and reconnected with old ones through the world of band and dance, I’m grateful to everyone who came into my life this year! 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
