Our Final dress is TONIGHT and we wanted to take a second to highlight the Director/Choreographer of CHICAGO, @brittany.everitt.smith 🎬

"Chicago has been one of my favorites for a long time. I saw the show on Broadway and loved the movie adaptation (one of the best movie musicals in my opinion). My favorite shows are those that tell the story simply and really rely on the actors talents. Chicago packs a punch with jazzy tunes, a live band, hot Fosse dance moves, and outstanding vocals. The staging is relatively simple. 6 chairs and a unit set. The spectacle is up to the performers themselves and I love that. This cast is ready to Razzle Dazzle! ⭐️ I had a blast choreographing and directing this team. Chicago has been on my bucket list and I am so pleased with how it has all come together."

If you know me, you know being cast in this show is my dream come true! Fosse is one of my biggest inspirations and most favorite dance styles.

Come see me live my fosse dreams as Kitty in @thumbcoasttheaters production of Chicago. Ticket link in bio. Would love to see all of you there ❤️

I spent World Theatre Day at the theatre directing these two morons! 🎭 I find that very appropriate.

Also, come and see “Gutenberg the Musical” at @esrtheatre April 4-20!

Worked on 4 shows that fully mounted this year!!! (Pictures in a vibes based order lol)
1 - An elite community theatre production of a play I’m about direct with stories that will be laughed about for years to come.
2 - Got to work with @lena_granger_ on a beautiful work I was thankful to revisit and finally be a part of.
3 - Made a 5 year long dream come true with directing Eurydice outside with @etudeproduction and so many people near and dear
4 - Played one of my all time dream roles as Motel in Fiddler alongside of my best best friends and made new ones I’m actually sure will last a lifetime.

I also just got to do some work as an artist this year and explore what it means to work in theatre in this town. I’m lucky as hell and can’t wait to see what the future holds. Thanks for all the love and support everyone. See ya next year

It’s going to be so hard to say goodbye, I love you all so much :(

I never knew that the Wizard of Oz would end up meaning so much to me, and it’s all thanks to the beautiful cast and crew. You all are amazing, and I’ve truly met some of the best people in the world working on this silly little show. So much love to you all, I’ll see you over the rainbow again soon 🌈🫧🩵
