Some moments make you pause and simply say, “God, thank You.” 🥹🤍

In 2025, I was honoured to receive the Academic Icon of the Year award.
In 2026, I stood in that same room again, receiving the Academic Icon of the Year award for the second consecutive year. 🥹🏆

And honestly, this feels different.
Not just because of the award, but because of what it represents; consistency, growth, discipline, and the grace to keep showing up.

First, I am grateful to God. Deeply grateful. Because when I look back at the journey, I know that I could not have done any of this by my strength alone. There were days I was tired, days I questioned myself, days when keeping up with everything felt difficult, yet somehow, God kept giving me the strength to continue. Every achievement is a reminder of His grace, and this one is no different.

I am also incredibly grateful to everyone who saw something in my journey worth celebrating; those who nominated me, those who supported me, and everyone who believed I was deserving of this recognition. To be recognised by the people around me is something I do not take for granted. It is a beautiful reminder that the little things, the consistency, the effort and the work we sometimes think nobody notices… can actually speak louder than we realise.

From being Academic Icon of the Year in 2025 to receiving the same recognition again in 2026, I am reminded that consistency truly matters.

And then, there was another award that made the night even more special, being recognised as the First Treasurer of the Association. 🤍

Being the first to occupy a position comes with its own responsibility. It means being part of the foundation, helping to set a standard and leaving something meaningful behind for those who come after. To have that role recognised and celebrated means so much to me.I am grateful for the opportunity to serve. Grateful for the trust. Grateful for the lessons, the people, the experiences and every opportunity that has shaped this journey. My heart is simply full. 🥹❤️

Keep showing up. Keep learning. Keep serving. Keep growing. Keep becoming.
