Reminded of this table from Miami Art Week last year with artist Emily Velez Nelms.

For the inaugural gathering at her new Miami studio, Emily wanted to welcome her community into a space that already had a strong point of view.

Our task was simple in theory: create a dinner experience that felt thoughtful and beautiful without competing with the room or the work on the walls.

The table needed to ‘belong’ there.

So we treated it as part of the composition. The palette, florals, tabletop and styling were restrained enough to let the art lead, while still giving the dinner its own presence.

The result was exactly what the evening needed: an engaged room, a casual dinner, and an environment that encouraged people to spend time with Emily, her work and one another.

The best gatherings not only bring people into a room, they also deepen the connection to the person, work, idea or institution that brought everyone together in the first place.

That was the assignment.

And this is how we answered it.

Romantic, but never expected.

For Andrea & Chad, we designed their wedding palette to let deeper greens, muted peach, blush, wine, and antique-toned florals carry through the evening. The goal wasn’t simply more color—it was to create something layered, intimate, and a little more intriguing as the light changed.

By the time dinner began, candlelight had taken over and the same palette that felt fresh earlier in the evening became dramatically richer.

That evolution from daylight to after dark was one of my favorite parts of this design.

Emily & Jordan’s Flagler Museum wedding in Palm Beach — Gilded Age grandeur with a fashion-forward point of view, layered with deeply personal details throughout.

One of our favorite examples:
One of our bride’s greatest sources of inspiration was the 2022 Met Gala theme, In America: An Anthology of Fashion, which came with a dress code of Gilded Glamour and White Tie. That influence became the foundation for many wedding decisions including the wedding stationery suite, which we developed in close collaboration with @tealturner.studio to evoke both the romance of the Met Gala theme and the gilded elegance of the Flagler Museum.

The bride also had a vintage Vogue cover she loved, which one of her dear friends reimagined by hand-drawing Emily and Jordan into the original artwork. @tealturner.studio then incorporated that custom illustration into the invitation suite, turning a piece of fashion inspiration into something completely personal to the couple.

We carried the magazine concept into the wedding day as well, reinterpreting it for the menus so the story that began with the invitation suite continued all the way to the reception tables.

That same sense of history, fashion, and thoughtful personalization carried throughout the rest of the celebration, from the candlelit ceremony to a reception layered in crystal, silver and soft garden florals.

A wedding where every detail carried creative meaning and intention.

A nod to Miami Art Deco, reimagined through a lush tropical lens at Vizcaya Museum & Gardens. Gatsby-era glamour meets bold botanicals, layered details, and modern Miami style for this unforgettable Vizcaya wedding.

Thank you @creative_fox_films for capturing it so beautifully, and to the incredible creative team who brought this vision to life.

A ceremony that felt deeply personal within one of Palm Beach’s most storied settings.

Soft white florals, the architecture, and the people closest to Brooke and Garrett created a ceremony that was formal in setting, but incredibly intimate in feeling.

Sometimes the setting is all the decor you need.

For this private residence wedding, the vision was intentionally simple—white linens, layers of candlelight, natural textures, and the surrounding landscape as the backdrop. Nothing competing for attention, just thoughtful details beautifully executed by an incredible vendor team.

Proof that simple can still make a statement. 🕯️🌿

Vizcaya is a beautiful canvas, but transforming it into something truly unforgettable takes a vision, a thoughtful planner, and a team of talented vendors who understand how to honor its beauty while creating something entirely new.

Caroline and Gregory brought a calm and gentle presence to the day, and everything seemed to unfold with that same effortless grace. Because when there is trust, intention, and calmness, creativity has room to thrive.

A celebration as beautiful in spirit as it was in every detail.

A beautiful destination wedding at Ocean Reef Club. ☀️

You already know I believe love is in the details... and this wedding had some of my favorite reception decor ever.

Instead of traditional floral centerpieces, the tables were filled with orange and lemon trees, creating a Mediterranean-inspired feel.

But my favorite detail? Paige’s family brought chamomile and Lily of the Valley from her grandmother’s garden in Philadelphia, making her a part of the celebration in such a meaningful way. 🥹
