Winning guess in the opening round for the cost of groceries in Madrid @therealpriceisright format goes to @torikucinski with €45 ($52) and an actual retail price of €55 ($64)!

Comparing actually costs of groceries used the following based on our family’s typical shopping:
- Spain costs: Carrefour Market in Barrio Salamanca, Madrid
- USA costs: Whole Foods in Buffalo, NY
- Same sizes/quantities
- Organic produce for both locations
- Cold pressed orange juice in USA (closest to the fresh squeezed orange juice in Spain)

Why are the cost of groceries about ½ the price in Spain (in a central, urban neighborhood in Spain’s largest city) compared to the USA (in a suburban big box store in a small USA city)? Some reasons include:
- Spain is one of Europe’s top agricultural centers with produce is grown locally year-round that shortens the supply chain costs
- Co-ops and regional distribution systems are common and farmers often sell directly to supermarkets or open-air markets, reducing markups
- Spanish cities have numerous local/independent and chain markets where vendors compete aggressively on price, which contrasts with the USA where food retail is dominated by large big box corporations
- Spain chains have low margins; USA corporations often prioritize profit margins
- Spaniards tend to eat fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced foods, while the USA has higher demand for ultra-processed, pre-packaged items, which require more labor and logistics

Never wanted a traditional job, never wanted to compromise on my passions and never wanted to turn into a boring adult. As I enter a new life chapter i’m forever grateful to @gameseven for making it possible for me to make a living off coming up with crazy ideas for my favorite brands. They trusted my vision when I was still learning to trust myself and we created some amazing shit in the process. Couldn’t fit everything in the highlight reel butttt here some projects & moments that make me smile lol.

1. BTS of an unreleased commercial I got to write, co-direct, and “act” (lol) in for one the hottest new rappers in the game
2 & 3. When we launched and managed the @rapcaviar Twitter & I got to shine a light on a bunch of new artists along the way.
4. The time I came up with this idea to have rappers freestyle about trending topics first thing in the morning - we called it “Breakfast Bars” get it? lol. Then @CookinSoul flipped Freddie’s freestyle 🤯

6. Turning Dyckman into Bikini Bottom for the new Kyries
7. Lines we crafted for Nike’s Sport Changes Everything campaign in LA
