Seven years ago, we started with a vision. ⚽️

Some of these players came to us when they were just 7, 8, or 9 years old. Today, at 15 and 16, some have signed, trialed, or trained within professional environments and elite platforms.

And that means a lot to us.

We always knew development would take time. There were days when I thought, people may not truly see the work we’re doing until these kids are 15 or 16.

Well… here we are.

We don’t take all the credit. These players have had great club coaches, trainers, teammates, and most importantly, families supporting them along the way. But we’re proud to have been part of their foundation.

From the beginning, our mission at ABFT has been simple:

Give young players the fundamentals. Give them tools. Teach them how to use those tools. And prepare them so that wherever the game takes them, they’re ready.

Not every player will become a professional—and that’s never been the only definition of success.

Maybe your goal is to earn more minutes.
Make your high school team.
Reach ECNL, MLS NEXT, GA, or another competitive platform.
Play college soccer.
Or maybe one day, sign professionally.

Whatever the destination is, development starts long before the opportunity arrives.

These pictures aren’t just a “before and after.” They’re seven years of development, patience, repetition, mistakes, growth, and belief.

We’re incredibly proud of these young men and women, and we’re proud of every athlete we’ve had the opportunity to impact.

And we’re not finished.

There are young 7- and 8-year-olds training with us right now whose stories are just beginning.

Everything is a process.
Respect the process.
Love the process. ❤️⚽️

Tony Capetillo makes history as the youngest player to score for Phoenix Rising, our local professional team competing in the USL.

Tony is one of the original ABFT pioneers, starting with us seven years ago when he was just 9 years old. Since then, we’ve witnessed his growth, discipline, and the countless hours of work that often happen behind the scenes.

We are incredibly proud of this moment for him. We also want to recognize and congratulate his parents, who have supported him every step of the way—driving him to trainings, encouraging him through the highs and the challenges, and always believing in his journey.

Moments like this remind us that with passion, hard work, family support, and the right development environment, great things can happen.

Congratulations, Tony. This is just the beginning. ⚽🔥

Anthony Capetillo making history for Phoenix Rising 🔴⚫️

At just 16 years old, the forward found the back of the net in a dominant 4-0 win in the U.S. Open Cup, becoming the youngest goalscorer in club history (16 years, 4 months).

The young forward continues to rise through the ranks, developing at RSL Academy before signing a USL Academy deal, and already making his mark on the first team stage. A forward with great size, presence, and confidence in front of goal, Capetillo is proving he belongs at the next level.

A huge moment… and just the beginning ⭐️
