2026 fashion/style/ thoughts and discussion post: ok with great research this the vibe that we might see this year! anti facial recognition makeup, stripes, colored stockings, layered bras, less synthetic fibers, layered activewear, yoga, natural fabrics, beehives, colored tights, jeweled headbands or large hats, fabric weaving/braiding, leather jackets (trench & bomber)

Honestly the lab leather might take a minute as the process to make it is really expensive. However, cotton, linen, wool, and actual plant material will be incorporated more.

-Fun and bold patterns/colors
-asymmetry in accessories: half up half done only one earring
-halo hair rainbow hair
-Avant garde dresses boxy shapes with corsets.
- Bright layered gym wea (stripes, bright colors, natural fibers) layered loose cool blue or mauve with red/black/silver accents. tube dress
-short a line dresses
Dresses with cutouts I think @nativedivacreations might have a really cute one and she is also an Indigenous designer. Fashion is art and makeup is a message and the past is the future. But as long as it’s not the swag era I’m good. Another thing to look for is air brush makeup (less wrinkles easy to flash spray it on), color changing nails, temperature regulation, and more tech built into clothing and fashion such as the meta glasses. Now there are fashion accessories that can boggle facial recognition as well (glasses).

I’ve also included some actual native designers that I’ve modeled for to avoid appropriating and to focus on appreciating if you ever want to add some items to your wardrobe.

2026 fashion based on politics and culture. Just a theory: lab grown, natural fibers, diy, iridescent, shoulder pads, 90s gym wear, leather, bell sleeves. Tribalism and anti facial tracking makeup. Clothing/shipping more expensive. Quality over quantity.

Made this dress on a budget and *made it work* 💁🏽‍♀️✨ On my way to visit the 100-year-old Navajo grandma down the street (who’s lowkey speedy for her age I lost her), I stumbled across a yard sale and boom—got some inspo and materials! Big shoutout to the New Mexico Film Office for the invite to the movie premiere for Rez Ball @netflixfilm @netflix @nmfilmoffice So grateful to be featured as a Chuska cheerleader in *Rez Ball* on Netflix. Such an amazing experience to see a movie brought to life by a female director @sydneyfreeland and Native writers. 💯 This is the dress I wore to the premiere (This is just the beginning—whole collection coming soon.) photography by @anthonyephotography #DIYQueen #RezBall #RezBallMovie #NetflixVibes #NavajoInspo #IndigenousStorytelling #MoviePremiereVibes #NewCollectionLoading #NativeFashion #NativesInFilm #NativeDesigner #Nativemodel #IndigenousModel #AfroIndigenous #NewMexico #NewMexicoFilm #AfroindigenousModel #NFWmodel #SephoraModel #Model #Actress
