TODAYS SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: ANTHONY “BIG ANT”!

For the past 2 years , @anthonylewsi has been grinding in our speed labs, showing up consistently and putting in work to get better.

What makes him stand out isn’t just his work ethic — it’s the way he shows up with his younger siblings, setting the tone as a caretaker and a role model. That kind of leadership speaks volumes and compliments his natural ability to connect with others incredibly well.

He says that what he’s loved most about being part of Pride is the speed lab family.

His next stop, Playing football at Lincoln University!

We’re proud to be a part of your journey, Big Ant. You’ve left your mark at Pride — and you’re just getting started. 🏈🔥

Under The Table Drills 💨

A commonly used method in teaching acceleration posture. But I've seen some great carryover from this drill to change of direction ability in free space. The hurdle height forces a constant low leverage, and the outside frames force the athlete to avoid rounding out of their cuts. The more we can put athletes in the positions they need to be in to move more fluidly, the better 🦁
