Artist Spotlight 🔦 @felixdickinson

A cornerstone of the UK underground dance scene for over three decades, Felix Dickinson emerged from the legendary free-party and illegal-rave culture of the ’90s, cutting his teeth with the iconic Tonka Sound System. A prolific DJ, producer, and label founder, he co-founded Ugly Music in the mid-’90s before relaunching the label in 2021. His productions have landed on influential labels including DFA, Rush Hour, Eskimo, Golf Channel, Claremont 56, and Futureboogie, with remix credits spanning artists from Khruangbin to Tranquil Elephantizer.

After 30 years of touring clubs and festivals around the world, Felix continues to leave his mark with acclaimed residencies at Houghton Festival, Love International, and Glastonbury’s legendary Genosys stage at Block9. His sets draw on a deep knowledge and love of dance music’s past while constantly pushing toward its future, guided by a simple philosophy: “A DJ has two jobs: to make people dance and introduce them to new music.” Expect deep, eclectic, and forward-thinking sounds—always with the dance floor at heart.
