We were excited to host a grooming demo with @nathanaustinncmg and @kathlenafancmg . We had so much fun learning from two amazing groomers.

Pushing ourselves with continuing education is so important in our industry and it’s even more important to learn from people who have proper training! Thank you for coming Katy and Nathan! Last weekend we celebrated Gidget’s 2nd birthday!!! Her Auntie Lindsay came over, she had a pupcake, and was freshly groomed by the marvelous @anthonymorang at @mybarksandbubbles ! Happy birthday sweet girl!

Okay. If you've ever spoken to me about @mybarksandbubbles (since March of this year) you have heard me sing the praises of @destinyymurillo! She is a natural groomer, is always so receptive to feedback, she is always growing/perfecting/investing in her craft, and her faith in God is undiminished by her naturally open-mind and open-heart. Fam, I'm still buzzing from yesterday's adventure!!!

When I found out that OG Freak Anika would be visiting San Diego from Germany for a few days, I knew I had to get down to see her! Jess and Carter, who also knew Anika well from the early Zoom Room days, wanted to hang out as well, so we took a train down from LA.
▪︎
Since we really bonded during those Zoom chats, Jess logged in so that everyone who happened to be on Zoom could see us together IRL for the first time. (Yes, the Zoom Room is still open 24/7!)
▪︎
Some SD-based Freaks even found the time to hang out for a bit! I hadn't seen most of them since the WET TENNIS tour stop there last June; it was great to catch up in person.

It was time to head north again much sooner than I was ready to leave, but at least I had more Freak time on the train.
▪︎
We need more SoCal Freakventures like this! I'd love to either get another group to head back down or get some San Diego Freaks to travel north. Who's down?!
