A couple of nights ago at Dreamville Fest, J. Cole set the Hip Hop world on fire again, but this time for all the wrong reasons. This dude actually apologized for the diss track he sent Kendrick’s way😵‍💫

Cole is obviously getting a horrible reception for this apology, as this is the first time in history an artist of his stature has apologized for a diss. He did say in the speech that the reason for the apology was that he didn’t feel any real hate towards Kendrick.

In my opinion though, it really doesn’t need to be that deep. We were all excited because we were finally going to see some hunger from 3 artists that have been somewhat dormant recently, at least in terms of rapping with passion. And now? Who knows.

But I’m very curious to hear your guys’ takes on this. Did Cole push himself out of the Big 3 convo with this, or was he right for apologizing?? Let’s discuss in the comments!⬇️
