People were rightfully giving me crap for not including many La Verne restaurants on my where to eat in La Verne list (4/10). So I decided to give it another shot and include ONLY spots in La Verne. Tag the spots I missed please. Micas Restobar is an incredible Peruvian restaurant. I love the parilla mixta which is a variety of their flame grilled meats on a bed of fries and salad. It’s about 40 bucks but way more than enough food to feed my wife and I. Where else can you find a steak for that price? Los Jarritos has been one of our family favorites since I was a little kid. I am super excited they now have a second location in La Verne and we will absolutely stop by soon. Don Baja makes the best fish tacos in town. They are also a great option for your classic Mexican dishes. They use quality ingredients and have a fresh salsa bar so they check two of my major boxes when looking for tacos. Tho One is our favorite Thai food in town. I know there are a few stellar options in town but we keep coming back to this one. I’m especially a sucker for their pad see ewe and crab rangoons. Orange Fish is the best sushi in town and it doesn’t hurt they have a killer AYCE deal. I love how they don’t sacrifice quality and they have tons of non sushi items included in the all you can eat menu. Crispy Piez is a pop up that we just found recently. They make neo Neapolitan pizzas at local breweries including La Verne Brewing. The Naughty Haughty has the perfect flavor profile for a hot honey pizza with grande cheese and ezzo pepperoni. JC Churros sets up next to the stater bros and fries the churros fresh. If you are looking for a late night sweet treat this is your spot. I love adding Cinnamon Toast Crunch and ice cream as if the churros were not enough. Jonah Bees is one of my favorite bbq spots in the Inland Empire. They make grilled cheeses stuffed with their slow smoked bbq that hit the spot every time. Catch them at Olives Neighborhood Market on weekends. Rice bowls from flying rice are the most slept on food item in La Verne in my opinion. The pork belly literally melts in your mouth and they always top the bowl with a perfectly runny egg. Plus their veg

On Monday, we showed our appreciation to the teachers and staff with coffee and pan dulce. Huge thanks to @antiguabread for donating the delicious pan dulce. No better way to thank the Aragon staff than with such sweet treats and great coffee. #lausd #teacherappreciationweek

#GuateFood #ChapinesEnLA #BrunchLA #LatinFood #BakeryLife

3/5/26 Antigua Bread LA Verne, CA...Came here with a super good friend! I ordered the Chiliquiles breakfast and she had the Chicken Pesto Sandwich & Fries that we shared. She bought two chocolate croissants and I got a bear claw and peach Danish for desserts. I also had a Hot Caramel Vanilla Latté and she had a hibiscus tea for drinks. It was an overall great visit, great food, great service, and great conversation! I will be back!!!
