Turning 40 is hilarious, tbh. How the hell did I get here?! I do nottttt feel my age, thank god, and I used to look at this number as so old and like the end of the road.

Sadly, my poor darling Dad passed away when he was 40, so I also think there’s a bit of trauma tied up in it 🕊️but here we are, thriving, and everything is more than ok.

I was supposed to be a haggard old crone. I do sometimes have a cooked back but generally I feel and look STRONGER, a gazillion times more confident, a trillion times healthier, more energised and more youthful than I EVER did in my twenties. Twenty-something year old me would be shook 💀

With every ounce of my body, I know this is going to be the best and most exciting chapter yet. So much in store. Blessed, lucky, happy and so grateful for my health. Without it we have nothing, and I’m very dedicated to keeping myself in the best possible shape.

Anyway, there are likely many fabulous mid-life-crisis-style changes on the way, and I love it.

Thank you to all who made this birthday so special 🍋 XO
