Such a beautiful wedding!! My sweet girl got married! I’m so delighted to have Josh Fretwell as our new son in law! John and I are grateful to have family and friends celebrate with us! The venue was exquisite! The planner was exceptional! The photography was stunning! And the DJ could not have been more perfect!

My first ever Morning Show Boot Camp was incredible! I got so much insight from vets in the industry and made some new friends along the way… What’ll stick with me the most was just being in the same room with so many POC excelling and making names for themselves in these host/producer/management roles. I’m Inspired AF 🥰 Plus, doesn’t hurt being a part of this badass team that has welcomed me with pure love! @miguelandholly @iheartradio ❤️

Welp … that’s 20 years in the books on the Thang! Thank you again to everyone who has listened over the years and supported the show behind the scenes, on the mic, and in the community. I’m thoroughly grateful to have had the opportunity and look forward to the next chapter.

And really this isn’t “goodbye,” but more an evolution of how I can take the things I’ve experienced and learned over the years and use them in new ways. Ways that bring the spirit of what we created on the Thang so many years ago and use them to continue to accomplish the goal of being part of a community, impacting people’s lives, and figuring out ways we can all grow and succeed. I’m excited (and moderately terrified) at what the future holds, but I really believe it’s gonna be great. Thank you to all the Thang Family members … past, present, and future … for everything you’ve done to get me to this point. Now I’m gonna take a nap!

Oh and the podcast is up if you missed any of it or just wanna moan and wail and howl about my departure. It’s available on all the places where people do podcasty things!
